The Client Goal
The Creative Group (TCG) is a Robert Half company that helps unite creative people and major companies with creative temporary and full-time positions. They needed an infographic design about research they conducted on the types of workplace change that prove most difficult for teams, and what viewers should take away from that information. They asked us to style it to fit with their brand guidelines, and for it to work on their website and blog for both computer and mobile viewing.
Since the design needed to translate well on mobile devices, we went with a narrower width than is customary for a web infographic: 500px. This eliminated the need for any horizontal scrolling as viewers move through the design. The bright colors came from our use of TCG’s brand guidelines, while the illustration style was selected to appeal to the target audience of creative professionals. Condensed text in brief chunks catered to the request for viewers to be able to grasp the information and messaging quickly.
