The Client Goal
ResMed is a medical equipment company with a focus on respiratory disorders related to sleep, such as sleep apnea. They wanted a series of small assets to spread the word about how common and dangerous sleep apnea is. There were many potential platforms for the assets, including press releases and social media. There were also many ideal audiences, including the general public as well as the press. Because of these needs, the assets had to have broad appeal and simple formatting. They also needed to adhere to ResMed branding to help with brand recognition.
We created a series of assets in a square format, ideal for sharing across multiple platforms without need for redesign. Each asset could only feature a small number of stats, and needed to be visually driven as opposed to relying primarily on text — not only for best practices, but also given their small size. We used a consistent color palette and style throughout so that the series had cohesion, even though the assets wouldn’t all necessarily be viewed together by ResMed’s audiences. The assets live on ResMed’s website and were shared on their social media channels, including Twitter.
