The Client Goal

Sesame Street is more than just a TV show — the nonprofit that produces the show, Sesame Workshop, educates families around the world about the important (and fun!) moments in our youngests’ lives. Their digital tools comprise videos, worksheets, and ways to learn, both for kids and adults. To that end, Sesame Workshop was looking to bolster their materials with interactive experiences that would help engage parents about significant learning milestones in their children’s early lives.

The Solution

To stay true to the brand and community established by both Sesame Street specifically and Sesame Workshop as a whole, we wanted to create some informative, engaging morsels that would captivate and educate key audiences. We identified that experiences with parallax scrolling, gentle animations, and bright, textured visuals would complement the Sesame Workshop brand while presenting important information to viewers. Straightforward copy with actionable tips communicate clearly, and carousel structures provide room for multiple pieces of information without feeling heavy. By incorporating these experiences into Sesame Workshop’s online database of information, families have means of gaining helpful, visual knowledge from a brand they trust.
