The Client Goal
After completing a national survey, Beepi — an online, peer-to-peer marketplace for buying, selling, and leasing used cars — wanted to design an infographic to complement their research findings as well as bolster their marketing and PR campaign. To do so effectively, the infographic needed to present a large amount of data in a captivating way, while also making each series of statistics individually available for posting on social media. They also had just 1 week until the launch of their PR campaign, so quick turnaround was critical.
The Solution
We developed a schedule with time-sensitive deadlines that ensured the project would be completed by their deadline. Beepi provided some raw data in addition to newsworthy data points for their press release. To maximize comprehension, Beepi wanted to stay within their brand guidelines while creating small graphics that each highlighted a data point or set — we complemented the statistics with an easily legible font. Because Beepi intended to share portions of the main infographic with their Twitter audience, Killer created simple visuals, based on their brand’s color palette, that would stand out in streams of content; each panel features an accent color that grabs the viewer’s attention. Portions of the infographic were shared with Beepi’s Twitter audience and the entire infographic was featured on their blog.
