The Client Goal

Brandemonium is an international conference celebrating the present and future of all things marketing and branding. Since 2017, the Cincinnati-based conference has gathered speakers and attendees worldwide to share knowledge and network. Being a brand-centric conference, Brandemonium came to us with an established brand, but knew that the way it applied to their outreach material needed to be as strong, engaging, and unique as the brand itself. The materials had to appeal to event attendees as well as the general public in the surrounding area. We decided on a web-based infographic and a detailed 7″x10″ program for their 2017 conference — and when the materials were a success that year, Brandemonium asked us to revamp their guide for 2018 as well.

The Solution

Drawing from Brandemonium’s brand guidelines, the infographic we created incorporated dynamic photography with colorful overlays, hierarchical typography, and minimal text. These elements all worked together to portray an event that is energizing, modern, and informative. Similarly, the program sourced familiar imagery and incorporated sponsors’ advertisements alongside a welcoming statement, key things to know at the event, featured speakers, a session schedule, and a detailed floorplan of the event space. Brandemonium’s bold color palette allowed plenty of opportunity to draw the eye across the pages and reach whatever information the attendee needed to see. Our 2018 refresh of the program incorporated gradients and differing featured colors; this afforded an engaging experience for both new and veteran attendees alike.
