Name: Chris Munroe
Title: Art Director
State your job description:
I manage the design team but also serve as a representative to upper management for the designers. If necessary, mentoring fellow Killers is part of the role, too.
How did you come to work at Killer Infographics?
I responded to an ad in 2011 and quickly became Killer Infographic’s first in-house designer. Over the years, Killer grew in size to its current 23 person in-house team.
What do you enjoy most about working at Killer?
I think most of the employees at this company would respond the same way to this question. Answer? The people. Everyone at Killer is seriously awesome to work with. There isn’t one person I dislike and I find myself learning from literally everybody here.

What has been your favorite project and why?
Every project brings something special, and, as a result, I end up having a lot of favorites. Some, because of contractual obligations, I’m not allowed to mention. But one of my favorite projects from last year was our “Seattle Valley” video we did for the annual GeekWire Awards. That project took a lot of time and patience but I’m really happy with the result.
Apart from your work at Killer Infographics, what are some side projects or hobbies you have outside of the office? I spend a lot of time shooting hoops and I play video games from time to time. Also, I know it doesn’t constitute a hobby per se, but hanging out with my wife is really awesome.
